Here's to another fun fur-family session! Especially when you arrive at the home to see a fully restored fire hydrant in the living room, you know it's going to be a GREAT session.
Meet the Beast's family. If you missed our FB post, this ever so sweet German Shepard has the nickname the Beast by her parents and is known by this in the neighborhood. She is quite the Beauty more than the Beast.
During our consultation, we decided a home session would be better since one of the cats (Ziggy) was much older, and we wanted comfort to be a top priority. After setting up, we took portraits of each pet individually and with their parents. Making sure we had a variety of images. Then it was on to the family portrait.
A few outdoor shots, quite a few laughs, and it was a wrap!
You never really get to know a client until you work with them, people you both may know, things you have in common, etc. I enjoy the small chat getting to know my clients. This session was a referral, which I believe is the highest compliment. Brenda, Krista, and I have several things in common, including a love to fish. Everyone has a story, and it's always interesting to hear. I feel like I have known them forever. And that's the way it should be because they will always be apart of the KAP family.
As I was writing this blog post, I received an email from them letting me know that Ziggy had passed away Monday, May 4, 2020. She was loved and will be missed. And I know they have portraits of Ziggy they will cherish.
Please keep them in your thoughts as we know all to well our fur-babies never stay with us long enough.
